The Amanda Pearl Le Tout clutches are a great way to stay on trend for winter while tying into the holiday spirit of giving back. Taking inspiration from their wildlife charity component 20% of the proceeds from the sales of the clutches goes to benefit the charitable initiatives of the World Wildlife Fund the clutches incorporate an animal print with faint metallic sheen into their design. The clutches retail for only $165/each and are available online at www.amandapearl.com.
Designer Amanda Brotman has a personal connection with the World Wildlife Fund after visiting Africa during the Summer of 2008 resulting in her passionate desire to work directly with wildlife protection organizations. During her trip to Kenya she was given the opportunity to visit local villages and learn more about the initiatives that are being set up to help support their economy and to further develop education and jobs.
During the Safari, her group encountered a life changing experience when given the task of helping nurse a baby cheetah back to health after his mother was tragically killed, with the baby cub left on its own to survive.
