DollarDays International today announced the entire revamp and re-launch of its highly popular wholesale and closeout site at

We realized that we needed to take the site into the Web 2.0 generation,
said Marc Joseph, president of DollarDays.
Meshing the explosivelyA growing channel of distribution for closeout and wholesale products, i.e. direct sales via the Internet, with today's net savvy entrepreneurs and small business owners was the reason we spent the time and money to keep the site a step ahead of the competition

The National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIP) reported last month that small business owners
confidence about the economy fell to its lowest level since 1980. That means that small business owners have an ever more urgent need for a source of wholesale goods they can trust at prices and in the small quantities they can afford. That's exactly what provides. That's how DollarDays customers can beat their competition. The updated site now makes it easier than ever to find the great deals small retailers need
, says Joseph.

One of the objectives of the new site was to make it easier to find the items you want among the 25,000 SKU's split into 360 departments,
commented Ken Cisneros, Sr. VP of Sales.
In addition, our new site makes it easy to enlarge pictures so customers can see very clearly just what they are buying,
said Cisneros.
Our goal is to enhance the overall customer experience. Nearly two thirds of our customers have bought repeatedly from DollarDays so we wanted to make it easier for those loyal customers to navigate the site as quickly as possible, buy what they need, and get back to running their businesses.

Early tests of the new site indicate that the average order has increased over 8%. At the same time new customer registrations have already almost doubled from 327 a day at the end of 2007 to 631 a day currently- a figure that is expected to continue to climb even faster with the new site.
