Fabric pricing is based on many factors.  Unfortunately, it makes it very difficult to provide you with a fabric cost range.  When dealing with cotton fabric, most fabric is sold as either woven or knit fabric.  In addition to the cost of raw cotton, their are numerous elements to consider when pricing out the fabric.  Some factors to consider which may effect price is carding, combing, ringspun, open-end, weaving techniques, knitting techniques, dyeing, finishing, packing, warp, weft, quality of yarn, count, weight, etc.

Because their are so many different cotton fabric constructions, weights, and qualities, it is too challenging for us to provide you with pricing information.  Sorry that we could not be more helpful.  If you work in the apparel industry and purchase fabric on a regular basis, it may be a good idea for you to keep a pricing chart based on all of your purchases.  In addition to listing the "fabric price" that you receive from your mill, we suggest at that same point in time that you write down the raw cotton price.  As the price of raw cotton increases or decreases, you can see how that effects your cotton fabric purchase prices.  Using percentages, you should be able to get a general idea if your supplier is charging you too much or not...  You may want to also read about fabric utilization or fabric consumption if you wish to save money on fabric expenses.
