| Very basic twill weave (technically a 2/2 twill). This is probably the second most simple weave after plain weave. Note the distinctive diagonal lines. This is from an old sampler and therefore is a bit messy, but the yarn is big and the spacing is fairly even, clearly demonstrating the basic pattern. |
