One of several Canadian houses debuting this season during LA Fashion Week, Arthur Mendonca presented an utterly effortless and sophisticated collection of spring separates in a modern neutral palette of dove grey, midnight blue with accents of whitened citrus Brights.

Languid charmeuse dresses with complex seaming, chic lowrise linen skirts and pants with compact viscose knits formed the core of this capsule wardrobe, coupled with stand-out items like a rouched-sleeved leather blazer, off-the-shoulder cotton voile dresses and diaphanous handkerchief chiffon gowns.  Clearly superior tailoring, luxurious fabrics and refined silhouettes define the Arthur Mendonca signature.  Get your checkbooks ready, Starlets, and think Armani with a youthful, innovative twist!

On the one-year anniversary of his eponymous launch, this acclaimed out-of-towner made a cohesive, polished presentation that clearly demonstrates his creative ability and should serve as Line Building 101 to most local designers showing this week.
