Limited Edition Rare NFT Creations

The Limited Edition Rare NFT Creations are the scarcest pieces in the Apparel Search NFT collections. Where the main collections issued one artwork in dozens of treated editions, these pieces were limited at minting: two copies of each design were made available, no more.

Why two instead of one? One copy was kept for the creator's own personal collection, so two copies per design were allowed — a collector could own the piece, and a copy would still remain in the collection it came from. Every piece name below links to its own OpenSea listing.

Why Two Copies?

A single-copy mint would be rarer still, but it would also mean parting with every design entirely. Allowing two copies per Limited Edition Rare collection NFT balanced the two aims: genuine scarcity for collectors, and one retained copy of each design in the creator's own collection.

The pieces themselves revisit the stars of the 2021 experiment — the unicorn, the sea otter, the Chewie artworks, Coco among elves, snakes and alligators — and then extend the Coco story into a whole dragon cycle: Coco fighting brown, gold, silver, white, black, red and green dragons, several of them in special coin and coin-and-sword editions.

The Limited Edition Pieces

Each name below is a separate limited edition piece on OpenSea (Polygon), minted two copies at a time. A note on plans, stated plainly: there are no current plans to sell the retained copies; if one is ever offered, its price would be set against the then-current pricing of the other copy. Limited editions are a fashion habit long before they are an NFT one — numbered runs, capsule collections and archive reissues all trade on controlled scarcity — and NFTs gave digital artwork the same tool: a mint count fixed in the token itself.
