Private Label Accessories

Building your brand on handbags, jewelry, scarves, and more.

Private label accessories let you sell handbags, jewelry, scarves, belts, hats, and eyewear under your own brand name without designing from scratch. Suppliers offer existing designs you customize with your logo, colors, and packaging — a fast path into the accessories business.

How Private Label Works

Choose from a supplier's catalog, select your colors and materials, add your logo (embossed, printed, or on woven labels), and approve packaging. The supplier manufactures to order. You get a branded product line without pattern-making, sampling rounds, or design staff — typical lead times run 4–10 weeks.

Customization Levels

Basic private label changes only the logo and packaging. Deeper programs let you modify colors, hardware finishes, linings, and dimensions — approaching true custom design. More customization means higher MOQs and longer lead times, so match the program depth to your order size.

Finding the Right Supplier

Look for suppliers specializing in your category (a handbag factory won't do fine jewelry well). Verify export experience, request physical samples before bulk, and confirm they can meet your market's compliance rules — nickel and lead limits for jewelry, for example. Start with a small test order.

FAQs

What is the difference between private label and white label?
The terms are often used interchangeably in fashion. Both mean selling supplier-made products under your brand; 'private label' sometimes implies more customization.
What are typical MOQs for private label accessories?
Commonly 100–500 units per style for basic programs; deep customization can require 1,000+. Some suppliers offer lower minimums at higher unit prices.
Can I get exclusive designs?
Some suppliers offer exclusivity per territory or customer for an additional fee or volume commitment — always get it in writing.
Do I need my own packaging?
Most private label suppliers offer standard packaging with your logo; fully custom boxes and bags cost extra but elevate perceived value.
