In the apparel industry when we refer to "solid" it is in reference to color. For example, a solid navy pant is simply a pant that is made from navy color fabric. As opposed to a printed flora pant that might have multiple colors. The floral pant might have navy color in the pattern, but it would not be a solid navy pant.
Pants clothing worn on the lower half of the body often from the waist to the ankles and covers both legs separately. Pants come in a wide variety of styles from long to short and come in a large assortment of fabric options.
Microfleece is often dyed in solid colors that are appropriate for ladies pants.
Microfleece, also called polar fleece, micro fleece or simply fleece, is a soft, napped, synthetic wool material often made from polyester. It was first manufactured in 1979 by Malden Mills, now called Polartec LLC. Microfleece fabric is a thin poly fleece fabric that wicks moisture away from the skin. The fabric is cuddly soft against the skin.
It is a soft napped insulating fabric made from polyester. It can be made partially from recycled plastic bottles and is very light, soft, and easy to wash. Polar fleece can stretch more easily in one direction than in others.
A lightweight, warm and soft fabric, fleece has some of wool's good qualities but weighs a fraction of the lightest available woolens. Fleece garments traditionally come in different thicknesses: micro, 100, 200, and 300, with 300 being the thickest and least flexible. Microfiber (or microfibre) is synthetic fiber finer than one denier or decitex/thread, having a diameter of less than ten micrometres. This is smaller than the diameter of a strand of silk (which is approximately one denier), which is itself about 1/5 the diameter of a human hair.
Pros & Cons: It is hydrophobic, holding less than 1% of its weight in water. It retains much of its insulating quality even when wet. It is machine washable and dries quickly. It is a good alternative to wool for those who are allergic or sensitive to wool. It can also be made out of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, or even recycled fleece. Regular microfleece is not windproof and does not absorb moisture (although this is often seen as a benefit). Fleece readily generates static electricity, which causes the accumulation of lint, dust, and pet hair. It is also susceptible to damage from high temperature washing, tumble drying, or ironing under unusual conditions. Lower-quality polyester fleece material is also prone to pilling.
