The Global Sources magazines for the fashion industry, and the apparel and textile sourcing reports that sit alongside them
This directory brings together the Global Sources fashion magazines and the apparel and textile sourcing reports promoted in association with Global Sources for the international fashion community. The magazine side has three titles — Fashion Accessories, Garments & Textiles, and Baby & Children's Products — each presented on its own page in this section with its sections, subscription terms and contents described. The report side is larger: China Sourcing Reports covering garments and clothing categories, fashion accessories, and textiles, together with India Sourcing Reports. The navigation directly below this introduction carries every link on this page: the three magazines, the report categories, and the wider guides to apparel research, fashion news and industry employment, so the whole Global Sources range in this section can be reached from one list.

Fashion Accessories is the monthly title for accessory products and suppliers, with sections on accessories, bags and footwear, beauty and cosmetics, and watches and jewelry. Garments & Textiles covers the manufacturing core of the industry — garments, textiles and trimmings in one monthly title. Baby & Children's Products serves the children's market with product and supplier advertisements from over 450 advertisers. All three shared the same sourcing format: detailed product and supplier advertisements making up the bulk of each issue, a product and advertiser index with full contact details, full-colour product photography with specifications, and analyst reporting on supply trends across Asia. As of January 1, 2010 the magazines are no longer available for printed publication, and electronic editions are handled through the Global Sources website.
Readers of the magazines were also pointed to the China Sourcing Reports, and this directory keeps that connection. For garments and clothing, the report range covers Children's Wear, Denim Garments, Parkas and Windbreakers, Sleepwear, T-Shirts and Polo Shirts, Women's Undergarments and Zippers. For fashion accessories, it covers Casual Backpacks & Schoolbags, Slippers, Casual Footwear, Computer Bags, Costume Jewelry, Hats & Caps, Sunglasses, Leather Bags & Wallets, Watches and Luggage. For textiles, it covers Home Textiles and Knitted Fabric from China. India Sourcing Reports add Home Textiles and Women's Garments from India. The accessory reports open this series in this section of the site: the casual backpacks, casual footwear, computer bags and costume jewelry reports each have their own pages here, with sample contents, industry overviews, executive summaries, supplier profiles and product galleries.
Start with the format that matches the job. A magazine subscription — now an electronic edition — suits continuous category watching: new products and suppliers every month. A sourcing report suits a buying project: a single category examined in depth, with supplier profiles, a product gallery and contact details gathered for one decision. Many buyers used both, letting the monthly magazines surface new suppliers between projects and buying a report when a category came up for re-sourcing. From this page, the three magazine pages describe each title in full, and the report links lead into the report families, beginning with the fashion accessories reports.
