Isolda Couture is a collection of designs by Isold Marie Maede. Isolda is a freelance fashion designer in New York City and Washington D.C. metropolitian area. As a recent fashion design graduate of Marymount University, Isolda believes it is important to broaden her knowlege in fashion whenever possible so she has also attended fashion courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her experience includes work as a design intern for fashion designer Betsey Johnson at her 7th Avenue design firm in New York City, working behind the scenes of various fashion events including several shows at New York Fashion Week and on the costume crew for the Macey's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She also has 3 years of fashion show production experience at Maymount University's annual fashion show, POrtfolio in Motion. Isolda's designs consist of vintage, bohemian, and lingerie styled looks for daytime and evening wear. Her inspiration comes from various sources, such as nature, music, art, her travels abroad and the fabric itself. She states "I have loved fashion design ever since I was a little girl, sewing with my mom and making barbie doll outfits. I'm very passionate about designing and take great pride in my work. I hope you like what you see!" Isolda Marie Meade is a freelance fashion designer in the New York City area. She graduated with a B.A. in Fashion Design from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia in 2007 and has attended various courses at FIT. In 2003, she was a design intern for Betsey Johnson in New York City. Her designs . She is currently available for full-time /part-time, permanent/freelance design work.
