Apparel Search world clothing industry directory — apparel, fashion and textile resources for Europe.
Welcome to the Europe fashion section of the Apparel Search directory. In this area, we provide information regarding European clothing and fashion accessories, organized by country and by the kind of supplier a buyer is looking for.
What is Europe? Europe contains approximately 10 percent of the world's population. It consists of the western part of the landmass of which Asia forms the eastern and greater part and includes the British Isles, Iceland, and most of the Mediterranean islands. Europe is a continent, separated from Africa on the south by the Mediterranean Sea and from Asia on the east roughly by the Bosporus, the Caucasus Mountains, and the Ural Mountains.

The country directories above cover the European countries for which Apparel Search keeps a clothing industry page. The full list of countries in Europe also includes, by letter: A - Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan; B - Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria; C - Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic or Czechia; D - Denmark; E - Estonia; F - Finland, France; G - Georgia, Germany, Greece; H - Hungary; I - Iceland, Ireland, Italy; K - Kazakhstan, Kosovo; L - Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg; M - Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro; N - Netherlands, North Macedonia (formerly Macedonia), Norway; P - Poland, Portugal; R - Romania, Russia; S - San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland; T - Turkey; U - Ukraine, United Kingdom (UK); V - Vatican City.
Three of the listed countries sit on the boundary between Europe and Asia, and this directory says so plainly. Georgia, known until 1995 as the Republic of Georgia, is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia, located at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe. Russia is in Europe and Asia. The Republic of Turkey is a transcontinental Eurasian nation located between Europe and Asia. Vatican City is located within Rome, Italy, in the southern portion of the continent of Europe.
Country lists change over time. If you know of any invasions, name changes, or treaties combining countries that we missed, let us know. If any of these countries are no longer part of Europe, we can remove them from the list. If you know of any European countries that are not listed above, let us know and they can be added.
Start with a country directory when you already know where you want to source or sell: each country page lists that country's apparel, textile and fashion companies and organizations in one place. Start with the two supplier pages in the sections box above when the product matters more than the place: the clothing and textiles page leads to European suppliers of clothing, footwear and fashion accessories by category, and the shoes and leather page leads to European suppliers of footwear and leather apparel. The REACH page in the same box explains the European chemicals initiative that applies to textile chemicals imported into Europe, which matters to anyone whose garments are dyed or finished for the European market.
This page is the Europe hub of the world clothing industry directory. It links to 33 European country directories, from Austria, Belgium and Bulgaria to Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom, and to the section's two supplier pages: Clothing & Textile Companies - Europe and Shoes & Leather Companies - Europe. It also links to fashion week information and to the REACH page on textile chemicals imported into Europe.
The full country list on this page also names Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cyprus, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, San Marino, Serbia and Vatican City. Those countries are listed by name so the Europe list is complete, even where Apparel Search does not yet have a separate clothing industry directory page for them.
