Working at Victoria's Secret — the intimates specialist as an independent company since 2021
Victoria's Secret is the world's best-known lingerie retailer, operating its namesake stores and the PINK brand for younger customers, alongside a large beauty business in fragrance and body care. For most of its life it sat inside L Brands (formerly Limited Brands) beside Bath & Body Works; in August 2021 it became an independent public company, Victoria's Secret & Co., headquartered in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, near Columbus. It has since added the digital lingerie brand Adore Me, acquired at the end of 2022.
Intimates are a technical trade, and that shapes its careers: bra fitting is a trained skill on the shop floor, and behind the stores sit specialist design and technical teams for bras, panties, sleepwear and beauty, a major Columbus-area supply chain, and the marketing organisation behind one of fashion's most famous — and in recent years deliberately recast — brand images.

Current openings at Victoria's Secret are posted through the company's own careers pages and the job boards — these links lead straight to them:
Victoria's Secret associates are trained as fit specialists: measuring and fitting bras across an extensive size range, advising on styles for different needs, and selling across categories — a lingerie customer is also a sleepwear, fragrance and PINK customer. The work is consultative and personal, and stores measure staff on fitting quality and customer loyalty programmes as much as on raw sales.
Store leadership manages high-traffic mall flagships and smaller formats, seasonal peaks around Valentine's Day and the holidays, and the brand's service standards through periods of deliberate repositioning, as the company has broadened its marketing to a wider range of customers. PINK stores run a younger, campus-inflected version of the model, and beauty specialists within stores cover the fragrance and body lines that make up a large share of sales.
Lingerie design is among the most technical disciplines in fashion: a bra is engineered apparel, and Victoria's Secret's design and technical teams in Ohio work on cup construction, support, lace and fabric development, and fit across dozens of sizes — pattern and grading expertise that barely exists outside intimates specialists. Sleepwear, swim and PINK apparel add conventional design roles, and the beauty division employs fragrance and product development staff.
Merchants and planners run a replenishment-heavy business — core bra and panty programmes that sell year-round — alongside seasonal fashion collections, balancing continuity stock against newness differently from most apparel. Sourcing and production teams manage long-standing factory relationships in Asia, and quality and fit-testing functions are substantial given the product's technical nature.
The Columbus area hosts the company's distribution heartland: large distribution centres serving stores and a major e-commerce operation, employing warehouse leadership, inventory and transportation roles. The direct channel is strategically central — Adore Me was bought precisely for its digital and subscription strengths — and its team added subscription commerce and digital-native marketing roles to the group.
Corporate functions in Reynoldsburg cover brand marketing, creative and photography studios, finance, legal, human resources and technology. The company's public-company independence since 2021 means it now runs its own full corporate stack rather than sharing L Brands services, which widened senior and specialist opportunities in Ohio.
Apply through the official careers channels in the listings card above — note the older link points to the former L Brands careers site, while the company's own current careers pages run under Victoria's Secret & Co.; verify the posting is with VS&Co. For store roles, fitting training is provided, but customer consultation experience helps. For design roles, intimates construction knowledge is the rare and valued specialism to evidence.
Not any longer. Victoria's Secret became an independent public company, Victoria's Secret & Co., in August 2021, when it separated from the former L Brands, which renamed itself Bath & Body Works, Inc.
