In-depth profiles of the leading international apparel and textile trade show organizers — what each event is, where it is held and who it serves

Welcome to the apparel and textile industry trade show company guide. This page is the index to the Apparel Search trade show profiles — full-length guides to the leading international event organizers, covering each show's history, its market, its venue and the buyers and exhibitors it serves, from the giant Las Vegas marketplaces to China's national fairs and Berlin's curated premium show.

Eleven organizers and events are profiled in depth below. For shorter summaries of many more events, search the clothing industry trade shows by name, by category or by country using the directory links at the top of this page.

The Event Profiles

Chicago Men's Wear Collective — the menswear market at THE MART in Chicago, produced by Merchandise Mart Properties: a to-the-retail-trade collective where men's clothing, furnishings and accessories lines are shown to department and specialty store buyers during Chicago market weeks.

China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC) — China's national garment fair in Beijing, sponsored by the China National Garment Association with the CCPIT textile council and China World Trade Center: men's wear, casual wear, accessories and fashion across some 60,000 square metres.

Intertextile Beijing — the China International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories, organised with Messe Frankfurt (HK): apparel fabrics and accessories, CAD/CAM and publications, drawing mills and garment makers to Beijing each spring.

LondonEdge — London's alternative fashion trade show for street, skate, lifestyle and youth-culture brands, the counterpoint to the mainstream order fairs, with its own online edition announced in 2009.

Los Angeles International Textile Show — the LA Textile show at the California Market Center, the West Coast's fabric and trim sourcing market for designers and manufacturers, running alongside the Los Angeles fashion market weeks.

MAGIC Marketplace — the Las Vegas giant founded in 1933 as the Men's Apparel Guild in California: at its 2005 scale roughly a million square feet and 95,000 attendees across the MAGIC, WWDMAGIC, kids and sourcing shows, today run by Fashion by Informa.

National Bridal Market — Chicago — the nation's largest and longest-running bridal trade show, produced by Merchandise Mart Properties at THE MART: bridal, bridesmaid, prom and special occasion lines twice a year, celebrating its 50th anniversary in August 2026.

Premium Fashion Trade Show — Berlin's curated high-fashion fair at STATION-Berlin, founded in 2003 and closed in 2023 after 21 years: the show that created the premium segment, uniting womenswear, menswear, denim, footwear and accessories under strict curation.

Texworld — the international textile trade show in Paris for fabrics, trims, accessories and apparel sourcing, where mills from the world's weaving regions present their collections to European garment brands and buyers.

UBM Trade Shows — the fashion events portfolio built by UBM, which bought ENK International and ran marketplaces including MAGIC and Coterie in New York and Las Vegas before the business became part of Informa's fashion portfolio.

Yarn Expo — China — China's yarn and fibre fair, held twice a year with spring editions in Beijing: yarns, fibres, CAD/CAM and publications, organised by the CCPIT textile council with China's cotton, wool, chemical fibre and bast-fibre associations.

How to Use These Profiles

Each profile answers the questions a buyer, exhibitor or researcher asks first: what the event is and which segment it serves, where and how often it is held, who organises it, how it grew, and what state it is in today — including, where an event has closed or changed hands, the verified current position, so a profile never sends you to plan around a show that no longer runs. Exhibitors weighing a first booth and buyers planning a season's travel can compare markets here before committing to a trip.

Pair the profiles with the wider directory: the by-name index lists events alphabetically, the by-category index groups them by market — bridal, children's, footwear, textiles and more — and the by-country index maps the calendar geographically, so a sourcing trip and a buying trip can be planned side by side.

Dates, Times and Locations Change

Consult the clothing trade show company directly for the most current information about an event. Times, dates, locations and exhibitor lists are set by each organizer for each edition and are subject to change, so check directly with the fashion trade show organizer before booking travel, shipping samples or registering.

If you are taking a break from researching clothing or fabric trade shows, you are welcome to browse the shopping directory instead — you have earned it.
