A flat lay of children's clothing from the H brands as products only - folded kids basics and activewear, casual rompers and tops, classic dresses, character tops, base layers and surf-style tees arranged together with a small Apparel Search shopping bag, product photography with no people, no children and no mannequins

Welcome to the H section of the Children's Fashion Brands directory. In this area of the fashion brand directory, you will find children's fashion brands from leading apparel companies and fashion designers that begin with the letter "H". When browsing this directory, you will find some of the most stylish clothing and hottest fashion labels in the world of children's fashion - and H, counted honestly, holds six of them, chip-linked below in the hub's own listing order, from Hanes to Hurley.

It is the most varied letter the children's brands directory has held so far. Hanes brings everyday basics and the world's largest basic-apparel marketer behind them. Health-Tex brings the letter's deepest history, a 1921 New York founding under a name that began as the Standard Romper Company. Heartstrings - Hartstrings in its own spelling - brings a classic 1979 founder-led label, kept now as history after its 2015 closing sales. Hello Kitty brings a licensed character rather than a clothing company. Hot Chillys brings cold-weather base layers in three weights of warmth, and Hurley brings surf apparel from a 1999 founder and a Nike partnership. Basics, history, classic occasion wear, a character, a base layer and a surf brand: no two filings in H are the same kind of record.

If you know of an important children's clothing brand that begins with the letter "H" and is not listed in this section, please let us know. The file stays open: a genuine H label sent in through the directory's contact route would join this page in the hub's listing, beside the six profiles already here.

The Six H Brands, as Their Originals Kept Them

Hanes' record is detail plus scale: premium cotton children's underwear with comfort waistbands, no ride up leg bands and tag-free labels; cotton-rich activewear with reinforced stitching and wicking technology; and the full HanesBrands account, its United States brand list from Hanes and Champion to Playtex, Bali and Maidenform, its national and regional brands elsewhere, and its claim to be the world's largest marketer of basic apparel. Health-Tex's record is a founding and a naming: Louis Russek, New York City, 1921, the Standard Romper Company; the Health-Tex name first used in 1937 for healthy textiles; casual clothes from newborn to size 12, currently owned by Lollytogs; and innovations that became industry standards for children's fabrics, comfortable fits and easy care.

Hartstrings' record is a positioning and an ending: classic clothing designed and produced with the traditional parent in mind, by Hartstrings, LLC of suburban Philadelphia, founded by Peggy Hart Earle in 1979 - and the report that its stores began closing sales on November 20th 2015, with Hilco Merchant Resources and Gordon Brothers Group helping to liquidate inventory. Hello Kitty's record is a character card: born in the suburbs of London, twin sister Mimmy, the motto about never having too many friends, produced by Sanrio, created by Yuko Shimizu, currently designed by Yuko Yamaguchi, a white Japanese Bobtail cat with a red bow and no mouth. Hot Chillys' record is a product system - base layers, socks and fleece in lightweight, midweight and heavyweight warmth - and Hurley's is a founder and a partnership: Bob Hurley, 1999, Costa Mesa, owned by Nike since 2002. Official brand sites are carried in References on five of the six profiles; the Hartstrings profile linked none.

How to Use This H Hub

Start from the grid: six chips, six full profiles, each with its editorial links, and a photo gallery on the four profiles that carry one - Hanes, Hello Kitty, Hot Chillys and Hurley. The hub's routes upward, to the Children's Fashion Brands main page and the Fashion Brands section page, are the breadcrumbs and section navigation, and its pointers to Popular Fashion Brands, the Clothes Guide and luxury fashion through the Fashion Brand Directory, plus its Fashion Industry pointer, are carried in this page's links.

The alphabet bar below takes you across all twenty-six Children's Fashion Brands letters, H unlinked as the current letter - back through the A to G profiles, or onward through the alphabet. Every image on these pages is a garment or product flat-lay only - no child ever models the clothing in this directory - and all copy is strictly product-focused, with the underwear, base-layer and swim-adjacent filings kept to fabrics, construction, sizing and care, so the H section can be browsed with a child looking over your shoulder and nothing on the page will be anything but clothing, presented as products.
