Every fashion company in the Apparel Search names directory that starts with F - 24 kept profiles from Fabric Stock Exchange and the Fair Labor Association to Foot Locker, Fossil, Forever 21 and Fruit of the Loom.
Welcome to the F section of the Apparel Search Fashion Company Names directory. The chip grid below is this letter's table of contents: 24 company profiles, one chip each, in alphabetical order. It is the most various letter the directory has recorded so far - a fabric broker and two labour-rights organisations, two fashion schools and a fashion law institute, two fashion television channels, a Paris governing body, the world's oldest trademark in the letter, and a Japanese SPA giant - filed side by side because a names directory files the industry under the names people actually look up, whether the name belongs to a manufacturer, a retailer, a museum, a trade fair or a television station. Every profile here is rebuilt with the historical record's editorial links, photographs and facts kept in full.
All 24 F company profiles, A-to-Z by company name:
Two reading notes belong on this hub. First, several F profiles are historical records as much as current ones, and each is dated honestly on its own page: Fashion Business Inc. closed in the later half of 2017 and is kept for historical purposes, exactly as the historical record directs; Fifth & Pacific carries its full rename chain to Kate Spade & Company and Tapestry; Foot Locker's and Forever 21's store figures belong to their filings' own years, and Fast Retailing's growth numbers are dated August 2014 in the historical record. Second, the five names-section directory pages filed flat under names/ - Fashion Companies A-I, J-R and S-Z, the Fashion Company Alphabet and the Alphabetical List - belong to the section as a whole rather than to this letter, so they are linked from this hub's navigation and reading text, not counted among the 24 F chips below.
The letter divides naturally into five kinds of filing. Cloth and making: Fabric Stock Exchange, the off-price broker moving excess inventory from Seventh Avenue designers and mills, and Fruit of the Loom, founded in 1851 and registered as trademark number 418 in 1871. Conscience: the Fair Labor Association, enforcing its Workplace Code of Conduct since 1999, and Free2Work, grading brands A to F on the tale behind each barcode. Classrooms and culture: FIT, the SUNY college founded in 1944 with the only Accessories Design degree in the United States; FIDM, California's private counterpart; the Fashion Law Institute, the world's first academic center for fashion law, established in 2010; the Fashion and Textile Museum in Bermondsey, founded by Zandra Rhodes; and the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, governing body of French fashion since 1973 and guardian of the words haute couture.
Media, services and stores make up the rest. Fashion One and Fashion TV are the letter's two channels - one a Bigfoot Entertainment subsidiary, the other independent since 1997 - while Fashion Beauty Monitor sells the industry its contacts and influencer index, Fashion Pulse PR works the boutique publicity trade in Los Angeles, and Fashion United runs the trade's jobs and news platform. The stores close the letter: Fashion Nova and Forever 21, Los Angeles value fashion a generation apart; Fashion to Figure and Fullbeauty Brands, the plus-size market's specialist label and its century-old brand house; Foot Locker's six athletic banners and FootSmart's comfort catalog; Fossil's watches and collectible tins; Fast Retailing's UNIQLO and GU; and Fifth & Pacific's famous renaming. If you know of an important fashion company beginning with F that is not listed here, you are welcome to make suggestions, as the historical record hub invited.
